| Application | This harmonised cable is suitable for light-duty applications subject to low mechanical strain, for both indoors and temporary outdoor installations. They can be used in dry, damp and wet environments. The H05RN-F cable is commonly specified on portable handheld household equipment, workshop tools such as soldering irons, furniture, and in the construction industry predominantly in pre-fabricated building parts. It has an operating temperature range of -40oC to +60oC and with its Polychloroprene (PCP) outer sheath it is both ozone resistant, oil resistant and flame retardant.The H05RN-F is part of a wider 300/500V rubber cable portfolio that includes the H05RR-F 318-TRS. For applications requiring a higher operating temperature the H05GG-F cable may also be appropriate.
